Aloha! Welcome back, we hope you’ve been staying safe and able to spend some quality time with your ‘Ohana. There are so many wonderful people here on this magnificent isle, and Gary Mooers is extremely proud to call so many of them friends. As a longtime Maui resident, it’s been a pleasure to forge so many meaningful relationships across the years, and we are pleased as punch to keep you in the know regarding many of our most-intriguing island residents!

From top-quality surfing lessons to stand-up paddle boarding instruction, catching waves in a canoe to getting the hang of a kayak, they’ve been bringing some serious aloha to Maui’s shores for the past decade-plus. Their world-class whale watching and turtle tours cater to everyone, beginner to longtime kama’aina, and are even further distinguished by their private nature. That’s right: no strangers allowed, just you and yours enjoying a private excursion out on the tides! What’s more, each member of their team has obtained a slew of credentials to help keep you safe: CPR and First Aid certification, lifeguard training, and becoming marine naturalist certified. Additionally, they all regularly take part in Hawaiian cultural instruction to ensure that they are engaging with pono around upholding the many proud Hawaiian traditions for generations to come.
Speaking of, one of our favorite aspects of the team and their mission regards their ongoing commitment and kuleana to ocean stewardship and protecting the environment. All of their tours and lessons are both eco-friendly and sustainable, and the organization takes great pride in giving back to both the ‘aina and the local community. In 2019 alone they were able to raise over $57,000 for local organizations, along with logging over 477 hours of community volunteering. That’s some serious malama!
