This hotspot for swimming and snorkeling is the original ‘Turtle Town,’ renowned as a gathering spot for all the sea turtles to frolic and do their thing. This white sand beach and grassy sward are just north of Pu’u Ola’i, the large red hill on display in South Maui that’s just before Big Beach, one of many ‘claims to fame’ here in the southern end. Molokini shimmers in the distance out on the water as well, which is yet another must-see when you’re here on the Valley Isle.
Just behind this magnificent beach is a wonderful condo community in which several owners all came together to create their development, all having first right of refusal should any of them sell. There’s also a subdivision of lots nearby, making this one of South Maui’s more-exclusive enclaves. You might never see these babies hit the market, but if they do, you’ll know what’s called for—giving the GM Maui Group a call so you’ll have first dibs to get in on the action.
