Seasonal Delights at SixyTwo Marcket in Wailuku Town

Welcome back to another delicious entry in Gary’s travelogues as we check in with our new friend Marc McDowell, the owner/proprietor/chef of SixtyTwo MarcKet in Wailuku! Marc is a wonderful guy who is also in possession of some serious bonafides: in addition to helping to open the Grand Wailea back in 1991, he’s also been a major figure working for Bistro Molokini and Makena Resort (which you might remember as Maui Prince Hotel), as well as working for several establishments Upcountry like the Kula Lodge and the Kula Bistro.

Marc and his restaurant have been a smashing success in historic Wailuku town and have become every bit as renowned for their outstanding customer service as for their fresh, scrumptious offerings. Marc and his crew utilize only the freshest seasonal ingredients—and make everything in-house! —to tantalize your tastebuds and give you a unique, satisfying dining experience. Marc also changes the menu every two months or so in order to best take advantage of the latest offerings of the season.

They’re now open for in-person dining for breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 2 PM, and are closed Saturdays in order to prepare for their excellent breakfast and brunch offerings on Sunday from 9-1. They’re also open for online takeout orders as well.

Do yourself a favor and make a reservation to enjoy all that SixtyTwo Marcket has to offer today—and don’t forget to tell Marc that Gary sent you as well!
