Aloha, fam! Today Gary continues his delicious trek around our gorgeous island to pay a visit to The Sugar Beach Bake Shop, located across the street from the famous Sugar Beach and the Kihei Canoe Club, and right next door to Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice – talk about one delicious part of town! Come make friends with David and Crystal, the owners and proprietors of this wonderful Maui institution for the past 8 years. They’ve got pies that are fit for morning, noon, or night – along with malasadas and a host of other glorious confectionaries to brighten your day and make your evening more memorable. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, you’ve definitely come to the right place – and check out the size of those cookies! Make no mistake, we left with a few of these to be enjoyed later on. With their famous banana bread made fresh daily, The Sugar Beach Bake Shop is the place to be for all the local treats and hospitality your heart desires. Check them out Monday through Saturday from 6 AM to 2 PM, and you can even place your order online – never a bad idea, considering just how many of our island kama’aina are usually waiting to get in each and every morning! They only make their malasadas until 10 AM, so prepare accordingly.
Until next time, stay safe, stay cool, and let them know that Gary sent you – aloha, mahalo, & a hui hou 🎉
