Hello! The team here at Gary Mooers likes to think of all their customers and fellow employees as members of a larger ‘Ohana, each an integral part of what makes Maui such a special place to live. There are so many outstanding people living in our community, each of them bringing a unique and intrinsic value to the culture. Indeed, while they might say you can’t come home again, there are thankfully exceptions to every rule! While the island of Maui has undergone tremendous changes over the years, along with the rest of The Aloha State, the ties that bind remain to forever link our island ‘Ohana together: aloha, malama, pono, and laulima.
As such, we would like to say aloha & e komo mai to Jesseca Curry of the GM Maui Group! A longtime island resident, Jesseca has been involved with Maui’s real estate scene since 2007, and she is extremely excited to help others call our beautiful shores home.
A native of Los Angeles, she obtained her real estate license in 2006 and accumulated a decades’ worth of experience. In 2016, she felt called to explore the wider world and became a flight attendant for Alaska Airlines for the past 4 years. It allowed for her and her family to experience so many amazing destinations across the globe, and eventually helped to clarify the sense of aloha and belonging that eventually brought them back home to Maui again.
What’s more, a wider sense of community and purpose drew Jesseca back to The Valley Isle, and her driving sense of passion for the real estate market brought her back home again to help her neighbors and friends find the house of their dreams. Joining forces with Gary Mooers and the GM Maui Group represents a perfect union between expertise and enthusiasm; helping members of our island ‘Ohana to secure their futures and their accommodation for decades yet to come. Her eye and appreciation for aesthetics have been invaluable to her friends and customers, unearthing new perspectives and hidden treasures that may otherwise go unnoticed.
Along with her husband and two wonderful children, Jesseca calls the renowned slopes of Makawao home, gardening in their micro farm and tending to their adorable collection of dogs, cats, and farm animals. When she’s not working, you can probably find her at any number of Maui’s outstanding beaches with her family or exploring the natural wonders of the countryside.
