Boy, it sure is delicious work introducing you folks to the very best in dining across our fine island!
Recently we were honored to sit down and talk some story with Executive Chef Byung Geoung and his award-winning work at Sansei Seafood Restaurant & Sushi Bar. Part of the famed DK Restaurants family owned by Dave “DK” Kodama – and with locations in Kihei and Kapalua, as well as over in Waikiki and on the Big Island – Chef Byung and crew are standing by to wow you with their Calamari salad and house-made vinaigrette, alongside of several other outstanding selections on the menu. These folks catch their ahi fresh on the daily, and you won’t find a better place for sushi anywhere else on the Valley Isle.
Speaking of, you’ve got to check out their Early Bird Special: on Sundays and Mondays, from 5 to 5:30 PM, you can come and dine on a first-come, first-serve basis for half off the entire menu! That’s a deal-and-a-half, especially considering just how good this food really is. Here’s our insider tip for the day: queue up for this one early! With a late-night special in tandem (Friday/Saturday, from 10 PM to 1 AM), Chef Byung and Sansei keep things rockin’ around the clock for your culinary pleasure.
The next time you’re in the mood for some serious ono grindz, make sure to stop into your local Sansei Seafood Restaurant and Sushi Bar – open for dine-in and take-out! Make sure to tell ‘em Gary sent you, and mahalo nui to Chef Byung for taking the time to speak. Until next time, aloha!
